Mitsui Ventures invests in Six Rooms Holdings -
the operator of www.6.cn,
a largest video sharing website in China
December 27, 2007 - Mitsui Ventures announced that it has invested US$2.75 million in Six Rooms Holdings (www.6.cn), the operator of a video sharing website “6.cn” in Beijing, China.
The Six Rooms website is one of the largest video sharing sites in China and delivers high quality video at high speed through its own content distribution technology. Since the launching in May 2006, the number of page views has increased rapidly to reach 100 million per day.
The goal of the investment by Mitsui Ventures is to help Six Rooms expand its business, capitalizing on the network of Mitsui & Co. group, as well as to provide capital for Six Rooms to expedite its growth.
