Palamida's IP Authorizer Product Named a Finalist in Emerging Technology Awards

Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal Award Honors Spirit of Innovation

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - November 13, 2006 - Palamida? a provider of software intellectual property (IP) management and compliance products and services, today announced that its IP Authorizer product is a finalist in the Collaboration category for the Emerging Technology Awards (ETA). The awards were created by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.

Aimed at celebrating tomorrow's leaders today, the Emerging Technology Awards honor Silicon Valley's spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship. The winners will be recognized at an awards ceremony on November 14th in Palo Alto.

In addition, customers may need to be aware of the open source projects they are using that include Java files. There are at least 100 common open source projects that are using the Java compiler currently, one of the first components within the JDK to be affected by the license change.
